Neil Dewhirst is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. His career has given him the opportunity to work extensively both in the UK and overseas, in Colombia, the UAE, Norway and the Gulf of Mexico, with both major and smaller independent companies.

Neil has undertaken drilling engineering, R&D project management, field development planning; offshore supervision; drilling superintendent and operations management roles. He has experience of multiple complex well types covering mature platform slot recovery and development drilling, deepwater exploration, ERD and more recently in the challenging UK/NL SNS.
