Chris Dykes International has provided Well Examination services since 2002 in accordance with relevant EU Directive and country specific regulations.
The Well Examination demonstrate that the integrity of a well can be monitored and managed throughout its entire life cycle and any pressure containment equipment that forms part of the well is suitable for its purpose.
The Well Examination ensure compliance with relevant company standards & procedures and authority regulations during the early design phase through to final abandonment.
As part of the Well Examination services, Chris Dykes International can develop a Well Examination scheme, which is in compliance with the EU directive as well as country specific regulations.
The Well Examination covers planning and operations for the drilling, completion, test, suspension / abandonment. This entails that well examination is implemented as an integral part of the planning & execution phases where the well examiner will serve as an independent advisor for the operator or license holder.
Production Verification
Chris Dykes International provides Production Well Examination in accordance with the EU directive.
The Production Well Examination applies to wells handed over to production or wells which are suspended or shut-in for a prolonged period onshore or offshore.
The Production Well Examination demonstrate the well integrity is fit for purpose throughout the operations phase and that pressure containment equipment that forms part of the well is suitable for its purpose.
Production Well Examination ensure compliance with relevant company standards & procedures and authority regulations, and that all the wells are operated in accordance with the management system.
Technical Studies
Chris Dykes International provides technical engineering expertise for detailed engineering studies for specific areas such as deep water, extended reach, high pressure high temperature, horizontal drilling, in-fill drilling etc.
Chris Dykes International has access to in-house IT solutions and experience in using the industry standard engineering software.
In addition chris Dykes International provide engineering support for insurance investigation where competent technical reviews are required.
All studies are performed by competent engineers with an extensive experience base with more than 200 years cumulative experience.
