Chris Dykes

Chris Dykes is a well engineering professional with more than 40 years of experience in onshore and offshore oil and gas well construction working for major and independent operators and the UK Health and Safety Executive. He has 22 years of UK regulatory and well examination experience.
Naomi Plumb
Office Manager
Naomi Plumb began working for Chris Dykes International Limited in January 2009. As Office Manager she is responsible for the company’s day to day operations, such as, invoicing, accounting, compiling End of Well Reports, and dealing with all other general administrative tasks.

During 40 years in the oil industry he has been involved in all aspects of offshore and land drilling both frontier and mature areas. He has extensive project management experience with a proven track record in upgrading onshore and offshore drilling units, well management and construction processes and contracting drilling rig and drilling services.
Derek Singer
Well Examiner
After more than 40 years in the oil and gas industry Derek has been involved in key management and supervisory roles spanning all types of drilling, completion and intervention activities, from straightforward exploration to complex HPHT and extended reach operations. Coupled with his experience as a UKCS Inspector, Derek is able to provide a unique and dual perspective on oil and gas operations, ensuring strong commitments to safety and productivity are maintained.
Paul Reilly
Well Examiner
During more than 34 years in the oil industry Paul has been involved in all aspects of drilling, completion, workover, well testing and engineering operations offshore with experience of exploration, appraisal, development, ERD and horizontal drilling, ESP subsea completions, multi-well developments with subsea infrastructure, multi-lateral developments and ‘smart’ completions. He has extensive project management and well construction knowledge including tendering and contracting of drilling rigs and supporting services.
Peter Howell
Well Examiner
Peter Howell is a Well Examiner with 34 years of varied experience in the oil and gas industry working mostly in the UK and Norway. He has held senior management roles for North Sea Operators, Well Management Companies and at Robert Gordon University. He originally graduated as a Mechanical Engineer and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Neil Dewhirst is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. His career has given him the opportunity to work extensively both in the UK and overseas, in Colombia, the UAE, Norway and the Gulf of Mexico, with both major and smaller independent companies.
Jonathan Lilley
Well Examiner
Jonathan has over 34 years of well engineering and operations experience from around the globe. His experience spans all types of well operations from heli-rigs to deep-water, and from air drilling to HPHT operations, having lived in and worked on projects in Norway, the Netherlands, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Vietnam, as well as the UK.
